So... it has been FOREVER!! I am going to give this blogging another try!!
Alot of things have changed since my first blog so I am going to try to get you all caught up! I am now living in Fort Worth and LOVING IT!!! I really miss home and my friends and family but I am slowly adjusting to the new me! I am living with Raven so that is great of course and we have an adorable little duplex that i love! I am working at the American Heart Association and so far I love my job so much!! It is just really great to be part of a cause and to know at the end of the day you are helping to save lives! The organization is amazing!! I work in Youth Market which means that I get to recruit elementary and middle schools for Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Heart. I get to go to some of the events and get the kids excited so I am really looking forward to that! I also get to do some graphic design and marketing as well so it is just a really good fit for me :) My official title is: Youth Market Specialist. I am doing alot of traveling during the summer, this is a slow time in the recruiting world but a crazy time for everything else we need to do to get ready for the new school year! I also bought a new car!! My job entails driving all over DFW to different ISD's (they pay my mileage of course) so I decided to get something brand new and good on gas so no more jeep :( but I bought a 2008 Nissan Sentra and it is the cutest thing-- I am adjusting to being low to the ground again... You have probably noticed my above picture-- yes, Ryan and I are engaged :)He proposed on my birthday weekend- it was a total surprise! He sent me and 2 of my best friends on a scavenger hunt to all the places that were important throughout the last 3.5 years of our relationship-- he ended up popping the question in front of Austin Hall at Sam Houston State which is where it all started at his fraternity's auction. It was the best day of my life and I look forward to our future together, he is by far the best thing that has ever happened to me. We are still deciding on the details but we are getting married on December 13, 2008 and are so excited!!

OK, so that was a mouth-full! How are all of you doing?? I need to get some updates!! I hope you all have great plans for July 4th!! (even if it means sleeping b/c that sounds great to me!) Ryan and I are going to his family's riverhouse off the Frio river for some much needed relaxation!!! I hope you all have a great week and hopefully I will keep up with this better !!
